1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Palmier Pro ("Service"), a product of Palmier, Inc. ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Palmier Pro is a local-first video editor with optional AI generation and assistant features. Your projects and media stay on your device unless you choose to use AI features that require external processing. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice.

AI features use external providers. If you opt in to AI generation or use the Palmier assistant, your input is forwarded to those providers; Palmier does not store it on our servers. The available model catalog may change over time.

3. User Accounts

You can use the video editor and MCP without an account. If you create an account for paid AI features or billing, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account and password
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Upload or generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
  • Create deepfakes or manipulated media intended to deceive
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service without our permission

5. Content Ownership and Rights

Your Content: You retain ownership of any content you create or import using our Service. Your projects and media stay on your device; we do not collect or store them on our servers.

No AI training: We do not use your media, project files, prompts, transcripts, timeline edits, generated assets, or exports to train Palmier models. We contract with external AI providers to process your input only to deliver requested features, not to train their general-purpose models. Provider retention and usage policies may differ by model.

AI processing: Palmier does not store your AI inputs on our servers. If you opt in to AI generation or use the Palmier assistant, you authorize Palmier to forward your prompts, reference media, and other input reasonably needed for that feature to external AI providers, including Anthropic.

Privacy and diagnostics: Our Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, including optional crash and error reporting. You can manage diagnostics in Settings → Privacy.

Support: If you share information with us through support or other channels, we use it only to respond and troubleshoot the Service. These Terms are not a mutual NDA; contact founders@palmier.io for enterprise terms.

Generated Content: Subject to these Terms and applicable law, you may use content you generate with the Service, including for commercial projects. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any source material and that your generated output complies with applicable law and third-party rights.

Our Service: The Service, including all software, algorithms, and intellectual property, is owned by Palmier, Inc. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

6. Payment and Subscriptions

AI generation and related features may require a paid plan. Paid plans include a monthly credit allowance and may renew automatically unless cancelled. By providing payment information, you:

  • Authorize us to charge the applicable fees
  • Agree that fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • Acknowledge that subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
  • Understand that unused credits may expire at the next billing date
  • Understand that we may change pricing with reasonable notice

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
  • Generated content will meet your requirements
  • Any errors will be corrected

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PALMIER, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Palmier, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another
  • Content you upload or generate

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Palmier, Inc. is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Entire Agreement
