Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Palmier Pro is an AI-native video editor from Palmier, Inc. ("Palmier," "we," or "us"). This policy explains how we handle information when you use our website, app, AI features, and support channels.

Your projects, media, prompts, and edits stay on your device. We do not collect or store that content on our servers, and we do not use it to train Palmier models.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information, such as name, email, and sign-in details.
• Billing and subscription information processed by our payment provider.
• Messages you send us through support, feedback, or contact forms.
• In the app, if diagnostics are enabled: crash and error reports, stack traces, app version, device and OS information, and diagnostic events such as feature usage and project metadata counts. Your media, prompts, and project files are not included. You can turn this off in Settings → Privacy.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to provide Palmier Pro, authenticate users, process subscriptions, route AI features you request, provide support, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

4. AI Processing

Most editing happens locally on your device. Palmier does not store your AI inputs on our servers.

If you opt in to AI generation or use the Palmier assistant, your input, such as prompts and reference media, is forwarded to external AI providers to fulfill that request. Assistant features use Anthropic; generation features use providers including but not limited to OpenAI, Google, ByteDance, etc. Available models may change over time.

We contract with those providers to process your input only to deliver the feature you request, not to train their general-purpose models. Some providers may retain request data temporarily for abuse prevention, billing, or service reliability, and may use aggregated or anonymized usage data to improve their services. Provider policies may differ by model.

5. Confidential Handling

Your project files and media remain on your device. If you share information with us through support or other channels, we use it only to respond, provide support, or troubleshoot Palmier Pro.

This policy is not a mutual NDA. For a signed NDA, data processing addendum, security review, or custom enterprise terms, contact founders@palmier.io.

6. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share account, billing, and diagnostic data with service providers that help us run Palmier, including Sentry for app error reporting and Vercel for website analytics. If you opt in to AI features, we forward your input to the relevant external AI provider. We may also share information when required by law, in connection with a business transaction, or with your consent or direction.

7. Security and Retention

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls and transport encryption where supported. No system is completely secure.

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, maintain security, and keep business records. You may request deletion by contacting us.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, object to, or restrict use of your personal information. To make a request, contact founders@palmier.io.
